Caricatures make the perfect gift by playfully capturing someone's unique personality and passions!

Celebrate individuality with my hand-painted watercolour and ink caricatures, designed to capture not just how someone looks, but what they love most in life.  My style of caricature is refined and heartfelt, subtly enhancing unique features while showcasing the personality, hobbies, and passions that make each person special.

All ideas are welcome, whether it's to include favourite hobbies such as gardening, cooking, reading or playing sports. Or their interests, such as their love for travel, nature or animals! Perhaps they have a signature drink, like a cappuccino or pint of beer, or a favourite food they just can't live without. they could be painted in an outfit that reflects their unique style, or an outfit tied to a special memory.

  • Where do you set up at the venue?
    I am happy for my table to be setup wherever you prefer within the venue. This could be in the area where the reception drinks are held, or in the main room, it really depends on the venue! As evening falls, I do require a well-lit room or a location near a plug socket to use my light, ensuring that I can continue to provide high-quality work even in lower lighting conditions. I bring my own table, however if you prefer me to use one at the venue, this would need to be a minimum of 4ft wide.
  • How many hours will you be at our wedding/ event?
    For all wedding packages, I attend and paint for 8 hours, or no later than 10pm. If you prefer for me to finish just before evening guests arrive, this is not a problem! For evening events, I generally will attend from start to finish.
  • How many people do you draw per painting?
    For my A6 live guest illustrations, the maximum I can include per painting is 3 adults or a family of 2 adults and 2 children. For the upgraded A5 studio illustrations, I can paint up to 4 adults a painting, or 2 adults with 3 children.
  • How do I book you?
    Booking a live Illustration package with me is a straightforward process. First, simply send me a message/email with your wedding venue location and date so I can check availability. Once I confirm, please choose which illustration package best suits you. I will then send you a service agreement for signing. To secure your booking, a £150 bank transfer deposit will be required.
  • Do guests take home their illustrations?
    Absolutely! All Illustrations will be on display for your guests to take home at the end of the night as their unique and thoughtful wedding favours! I will take a photo of each painting to ensure you get to see all illustrations!
  • How far in advance should we book?
    My diary is open for bookings up to 2 years in advance. If your wedding or event is within this timeframe, I highly recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure your date is reserved. Keep in mind, your booking will only be confirmed once the contract has been signed and a deposit is paid.
  • How far do you travel, and what are your travel costs?
    Based in Nottingham, I predominantly cover the Midlands, however I do also cover other areas. If your venue is within a 15-mile radius of Wilford, there is no extra travel cost. For venues outside of this radius, please message me with the details of your venue, and I will provide you with a tailored travel cost.
  • Do you mind if people watch you paint?
    Of course not! It's an incredible opportunity to share my creative process and it often sparks wonderful conversations. Whether they just take a curious glance or engage in a discussion about the process, I welcome and enjoy the interaction!
  • How do you choose which guests to paint if there are more attending than the package booked?
    I can handle the selection process in a couple of ways and you can choose what suits you best. You can either opt for a "first come, first serve" basis, where guests come to me for photos, ensuring that those who are most excited are painted first. Alternatively, you can provide me with a guest list and mark which individuals should have priority. This process ensures that the most important guests will take home an illustration!
  • What happens if you don't finish illustrating all the guests?
    I will do my upmost to get as many guests painted on the day as possible. I can paint around 35/45 guests on the day depending on the start time, the complexity of the guests outfits, and how chatty your guests are! If I do not finish painting the guests during the wedding, don't worry! I will complete these illustrations in my studio within two weeks after and post them to you with no extra charge.
  • Do you Illustrate at other events?
    Absolutely! I offer Live Illustration services for a variety of events including big birthday and anniversary parties, balls, corporate events, proms, hen do's, and more. Please message me for pricing details and more information on how we can make your event unforgettable!
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    I will send Terms and Conditions when booking which will include all further details you may need.
  • Tell me more about the A5 upgraded illustrations?
    Guests I paint in my studio after the wedding have the option to be upgraded to the larger A5 size. This is the same size as the Bride & Groom illustration, and includes a full face. You may choose to have family or the bridal and groom's parties upgraded to this size, to create the perfect thank you gift. It is an additional £5 a person to upgrade to this size.
